Nutanix services

We offer on-site deployment services for Nutanix Cluster with deployment of Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform for the Nutanix supported hypervisor AHV, vSphere, XenServer, or Hyper-V. The Cluster can be deployed on a range of supported hardware platforms from Nutanix, Nutanix OEM partners, and other platform providers. A certified Nutanix consultant will ensure to plan and deploy your Nutanix Cluster.

Pre-Requisites

• Power and cooling requirements according to the underlying hardware
• Specification 10Gb Ethernet top-of-rack switches (2 ports per node)
• 100Mb/1Gb Ethernet management switches (1 port per node)
• Provide all pre-requisite information specified in the Nutanix Services Preinstall Questionnaire such as network configurations, Active Directory
• VMware/Microsoft/Citrix licensing (if applicable)

STANDARD SCOPE

• Plan and provide Layer 2 Virtual/ Physical network requirements for Nutanix

  Cluster (see Pre- Requisites); this service does not include configuring customers Ethernet switches

• Rack installation and in-rack cabling

• Nutanix Cluster deployment & configuration including firmware and Acropolis.

• Hypervisor cluster deployment & configuration.

• Hypervisor vSwitch configuration (up to 2 vSwitches and 5 Port Groups/VLANs)

• Prism Central deployment/integration

• Integrate vSphere cluster into an existing vCenter or deploy a standalone vCenter Server Appliance with embedded Platform Services Controller, if applicable

• Integrate Hyper-V cluster into an existing System Center ??? Virtual Machine Manager, if applicable

• Test & Validation of the deployment

• As-built documentation with Architectural diagrams & test results

• Knowledge Transfer up-to two hours
